I'm Dave Corun.
I'm an Architect working for Avanade.
Recently I worked for Social Solutions
on the migration of ETO Software from Classic ASP to .NET 3.5.
I'm also a frequent Technical Reviewer for Manning
Publications.
Before Social Solutions I was Director of Microsoft Technologies for Catalyst IT Services in Baltimore, MD. My job included writing
a 2,700 page .NET 2.0 curriculum, running boot camps, managing software projects,
architecting solutions, and mentoring junior / immediate level developers.
I've also been an instructor for
New Horizons Computer Learning Centers of Washington DC. I taught .NET Boot
Camps, CCNA boot camps, and a great deal of Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC).
Farther back in time I owned / ran two consulting firms, worked in half a dozen
industries as a lead developer, competed against Qualcomm w/ a Mobile Dispatching Solution I developed, and
toured as a musican.
Before everything became crazy busy I used to record music.
